All week long there have been these 2007 highlights/lowlights going on, so I started to think about my own. First of all, why do they only talk about the bad that happened in 2007? I am sick of seeing all the worst events of 2007 like Britney Spears. Back to my own list. Instead of making a top 10 I think I am going to go through each month.
January-I don't remember anything special about January
February- I wore a 2005 championship ring from the Spurs and have a picture to prove it. We won first place in Sing.
March- I turned 21
April- not much happened in April
May- finished my junior year at Baylor and left for New York for the summer
June, July- living in New York, working as a summer missionary, passing out on the subway :)
August- had to leave New York and started my senior year at Baylor
September- started my community group, got a bike
October- pigskin practices, halloween with the community group as painters, fall parties as a rho chi
November- Baylor Homecoming- pigskin performances, winning float! My bike was stolen, Thanksgiving- passing out again...
December- Finishing up the semester, spending a week and a half in NYC with Graffiti 2, Christmas- getting a new bike!
I'm sure I am missing a few highlights, but those are some of the major ones. I already have some future highlights for 08 that I am looking forward to. The biggest is graduating and moving to New York to be a full time missionary! I am so excited and I know this last semester will go by so fast because I will be so busy until at least April.

Christmas!
I have enjoyed my Christmas break so far. Since I got to Georgetown I have hardly gotten anything accomplished. I've accepted it and am loving it while it lasts! I do have a pretty long to do list by January 7th. I'll explain later.
Christmas this year was pretty typical. Our Christmas Eve was the same thing we always do, except we switched around the aunt's house that we went to. Christmas day we had Christmas with just our family and then went to the other aunt's house and had lunch, which was amazing, and then we headed to New Braunfels. We hung out and exchanged gifts and played some games. We stayed the night and came back to Georgetown this afternoon.
I must say I felt like I kid on Christmas morning. I was secretly hoping for a new bike from santa since mine was stolen. After we had opened all the presents my dad went and got a bike and rolled it into the living room. I got so excited! I can't wait to be bike buddies with Ashleigh again!
Now I will enjoy the rest of my break. This is so strange not having to work or do school right now. I love my job. It would be nice to have some money right now though...
My to do list consists of things I want to get done before I go back to Waco and get busy with rush and school. First I should back up and explain my options for New York. The most likely plan is that I will start off as a summer/semester missionary through NAMB until I can get a US/C-2 position. I would have to raise support while I am a summer/semester missionary because the stipend isn't enough to cover all living expenses. So that is what I am starting to do now. I want to get that taken care of as soon as possible, and there is a lot that goes with that. I am also beginning the application process to become a US/C2 missionary, so I will start that when I can.
I still don't have an update from the doctor yet. Maybe tomorrow I will hear something.

1st Graffiti Christmas
I got back from New York today. I wasn't really ready to leave, but it helps that there is nothing going on until January, so it is easier for me to accept. The past week and a half has been busy.
I left Saturday morning to go to New York. I got in without any problems and headed to the Bronx, where I would be staying for the first few nights. I dropped my stuff off and then walked to Graffiti 2. They were finishing up their Kung Fu class and I walked in and completely disrupted everything. I said hi to everyone and then I had to go back to change clothes to go ice skating. We left for ice skating around 5 and headed to Manhattan. We stood in line for nearly 2 hours and then skated for about an hour. It was a lot of fun and I didn't fall down, even with 2 little girls holding on to me nearly the whole time.
Sunday I went to church at Graffiti in Manhattan and then met up with Ashley that afternoon. We hung around Manhattan and then went back to the Bronx. I had dinner and then decided I needed to go to sleep. I went to bed at 8 and got 12 hours of sleep.
Monday I went to Graffiti 2 and started getting things ready and wrapped for the Christmas party. I helped in the after school program and then we decorated stockings that were being given to the kids.
Tuesday was similar during the day and then we had chapel service that night. We did a baby dedication for Aiden which was nice. Wednesday was more wrapping and then we stuffed the stockings that night. Wednesday my mom got in town, so I moved to Queens for a couple days.
Thursday was filled with more wrapping and then after we were finished with the after school program, Patrick, Andrew, my mom, and I all went to eat dinner at Max Brenner's. It was delicious, of course! Friday morning we slept in a little and then headed up to the Bronx after lunch. We put all the gifts together for each child and sorted them by families to get ready for the party Friday night. The Christmas celebration was a lot of fun and everyone was so grateful for the gifts. It was such a rewarding experience to see the joy Graffiti was bringing to the community.
Saturday I went to the Kung Fu class at G2. It was interesting. I thought I might participate, but I didn't feel that I could keep up, so I took pictures instead.
Sunday was church at Graffiti again and it was time for another move. My mom and I packed our stuff and rode in with Larry and Teresa. We were going to be staying in a hotel for the remaining time. The kids and teenagers had a Christmas performance during church and then afterwards we had lunch and went back to the hotel for a little bit. We had tickets to see the Rockettes Sunday night, so we did that and walked around that area afterwards. The show was so good and our seats were amazing.
Monday we were helping with the toy sale at Graffiti. We were supposed to be there at 5 AM to help set up. Monday wasn't as busy of a day because it was for people with children in the Graffiti programs. Tuesday was the same but we didn't have to be there until 8. We spent Tuesday doing surveys with people while they were waiting to go shop. I wasn't actually doing surveys because I was the person directing people. It all went smoothly, which was nice. Tuesday night was chapel at G2.
Then today, which has been the longest day ever....I got up at 5 AM Eastern time, flew out at 7:30, landed in Houston around 10:30 Central time and waited until 12:30 to leave for Waco. I got to Waco around 2 and then hung out with Brittany and Deidre all day. We went to see This Christmas and then we decided to go to West to get kolaches. Now it is 1 AM and I have been up for 21 hours. I have been exhausted all day, but I had a couple cokes today, so I'm not completely surprised I am still up.
I have more updates from the past week about my future with G2 and all that it entails, but it is a lot of info and I don't want to go there right now. Continue to pray that it will be worked out and that I continue to rely on God no matter what happens.

I LOVE December!
Here are some of the reasons I love December...
It is the Christmas season, and all that it entails (Christmas decorations, music, lights, food, etc. etc.)
I am going to New York in 4 days
The semester is almost over
Cold weather and hot drinks
Peppermint ice cream
Christmas parties
Did I mention I will be in New York in 4 days?
The past few days have been interesting. Last week was the last week of school, so I was busy wrapping up classes and finishing assignments. Christmas on 5th was last Thursday and it was a lot of fun. Clay Walker came for the concert and he was so good. I didn't realize how many of his songs I knew. I finally figured out the right setting for my camera so I got some good pics.

Deidre and I left a space for Brittany because we were pretending she was there with us.
Last week I called and got an appointment to see a neurologist. My appointment wasn't going to be until this Friday, but things changed and I ended up going to the SLC to see the same neuologist. I went in yesterday and I didn't get any answers really. I had to go back today so I could schedule an EEG at one of the hospitals in Waco. I went up there this morning and found out that I had to have an appointment to schedule an appointment, which no one told me. I was not happy. I went back later on and scheduled my EEG appointment for Dec. 21, after I get back from New York. So I still have to wait for answers, but I kinda expected this to be a long process.
Tomorrow is another dead day. I got some studying done today and I will do some tomorrow as well, then that is it! I am taking 4 finals on Thursday so that I can leave on Saturday to go to NEW YORK! I changed my finals around, so it will be a long day, but it will be worth it! One of them is volleyball, so it doesn't really count. Then Friday I have a group presentation and that is it!
Sunday I was bored and didn't want to study, so I planned out my outfits for New York. They are all ready and folded on my loveseat, just waiting to be packed. I am just a little excited if you can't tell!
