I had a very enjoyable Thanksgiving. Megan and I did not end up doing our activity with the family. We were going to teach the soulja boy dance and have everyone do it together, but we spent most of our time playing other games and watching football. Friday I passed out and/or possibly had a seizure. I was washing my hands off and got dizzy then the next thing I knew I was on the floor with my mom, dad and aunt hovering over me. It was strange and scary. I think it was more scary to them than me. I landed on their hard concrete floor but nothing really hurt. This is the second time in 5 months that this has happened. I have found a doctor in Waco and am going to call tomorrow to try and get an appointment. Part of me is scared, but the other part isn't really worried. I like when I am in the not-worried-state, but that is not always the case.
This is the last week of classes! Whoo hoo! Today was rough with school, but now I am almost home free! Yesterday I spent hours working on literature responses and was kicking myself for forgetting the questions I needed in Waco over the break. I finished everything and it is turned in. Hopefully this week will go by quickly. There is something I am looking forward to every night of the week, so that is fun. Thursday is Christmas on 5th, which is my 2nd favorite Baylor event. I love it because it gives me an excuse to be outside in the cold drinking warm things and wearing cold weather clothes!
That is all the updating I feel like doing right now. I'm ready to go to sleep!

R.I.P 6-speed red huffy...
So I have sad news. My bike was stolen this weekend. I was really bummed out about it, and still am actually. I ride it to class everyday and it is so nice not having to worry about parking. Now I have to leave early to mess with parking, or walk the whole way and I don't get to be bike buddies with Ashleigh anymore. I told her I would by some pegs for her bike if she would give me rides to class. The weird thing about it is that Deidre was sleeping on the futon in the living room and she didn't hear anything. Actually its not that weird, she is really out of it when she sleeps. I feel bad that it got stolen because it wasn't really mine. My grandmother bought it years ago and hardly rode it, so she said I could use it. I guess it's probably not that big of a deal, but still, I feel kinda bad.
This weekend was interesting. It felt like I was a freshman or sophomore again. Deidre had a friend come in town from Oklahoma that she went to Thailand with, and then she brought a bunch of her friends who knew more Baylor people from summer project this summer. Anyway, it was a big group of people and we had lots of fun. Friday night I watched basketball while they went to dinner and then afterwards they came over here and hung out for awhile. Then we went to common grounds and played catch phrase together. After that we decided to go to West to get kolaches for breakfast on Saturday. After we got kolaches we went to the suspension bridge. I forget how cool the suspension bridge is and that it is even in Waco. We go back home and I ended up going to bed around 2:30. I haven't stayed out that late or done that many random things, especially with a big group like that, in SO long. It was so much fun and made me realize how much I miss it.
Saturday I got up early to go to Highland's fun run. I met Jill there and we walked the mile together. It was fun, but I was tired. After that I came back home for a little bit, squeezed in a short nap, and then went to the volleyball game. The volleyball class with the highest percentage of the class there got an automatic 89 on the final. Most of our class was there, but I don't know if we had enough. After that I met up with the group again at the football game. It was my last Baylor football game as a student...tear (not really). I was so tired and the game wasn't very exciting at all, so I left early.
Sunday I went to church and then went in to work. I only worked for a couple of hours and then I had to leave to go work on a group project. This was when I realized my bike was missing. I was hoping Deidre was playing a trick, which I thought would have been funny, except she wasn't. We finished our group project and then I came back and was pretty unproductive for the rest of the day. I read some at common grounds with Deidre, but not near enough.
Today was founder's day for Tri Delta. I realized that there are some Tri Delt alumni out there that are still seriously connected/obsessed with their sorority. I think it is ridiculous. I guess I just don't understand it. I met a couple of alumni who were apparently pretty big deals. I can honestly say that I doubt I will ever be anywhere close to having that obsession like they still do after 25+ years.
I am so excited about Thanksgiving!!! I have been on holiday mode all weekend. I don't want to do any school stuff and I have so much to do by Monday. I hate the idea of doing it over the break because I know I won't do it, but I am going to have to somehow...
This year I was told that Megan and I need to come up with some games for the family to play together. I have one idea that will be very very funny. I'm not going to spoil the surprise, but hopefully I will be able to blog about it with video and pics after Thanksgiving. :)

halftime entertainment?
This weekend was nice and relaxing. Saturday I slept in and then went to the volleyball game with Ashleigh. We got there and NO ONE was there. It was kinda sad. We are watching for awhile and then this guy comes up and asks us if we would participate in the halftime thing after the second game. We agreed and then after the second game we went down and he explained in more detail what we were going to do. We were blindfolded with t-shirts and then spun around. The guy put a volleyball on each side of the court and we had to listen to the small crowd to tell us where to go and find it. I had the band on my side so that was good. We both found the volleyballs and got to keep extra large gold rush tshirts. Whoo hoo! We were so embarassed. It was funny though. We are planning on going next weekend too, so maybe we can get picked again because we were so amazing. I tried to attach pics but it wasn't working.
Today I worked on a group project and then did some reading, actually ALL of my reading for tomorrow. Then Deidre and I went to Panera for dinner and then to Bed Bath & Beyond for this discount thing. Employee family and friends get 30% off, so I went to look for luggage. I found some online, so I went to look at it and it was on clearance! It was originally $100 for a 4 piece set, but it was on clearance for $39.99 plus 30% off. It was amazing. I got a set for myself from Deidre for Christmas and then I got 2 more sets for the family. What a deal.
Speaking of deals....I've been doing some ebay shopping recently. I've kinda gotten addicted. I bought 2 pair of jeans today. I am really excited about them. Then we found some jeans for Deidre and we won those. It's been an exciting day of deals. Not quite as exciting for my bank account, but I will recover. :)

3 months down, 1 to go!!!
Yay its Friday! Fridays are always so relaxing. Today I am extra excited because my political science class is cancelled. That is my last one of the day and I always have a hard time going. So now Deidre and I are going to go shopping/looking!
This week has gone by so fast. I have no idea why either. I didn't have much going on at all, but it flew by. I am not complaining and I hope the rest of the semester is the same.
Brittany left for Australia this week. She will get back on the day I leave for New York, so I won't see her for about a month and a half. Speaking of New York.... I will be there in less than a month! 4 weeks from tomorrow! It is finally getting close!
Yesterday I turned in my final degree audit. We have to do this after we register for our last semester. It has a magic sentence on it that says something about all courses in progress or something, which means I can graduate! I started thinking about graduation things like announcements and pictures and I got excited. In one of my classes yesterday we had a presentation on the cost of a wedding which also got me thinking and excited, but I could only go so far with that one. :)
Wednesday was Sam's birthday so I went to Georgetown to hang out with her. It was good and I think we both really needed it. I ate at Dos Salsas with Sam and my mom and then we went to Starbucks to catch up.
This weekend I am supposed to go to a Baylor volleyball game. It should be fun and I haven't been to one since my freshman year. Then we have Steppin' Out tomorrow afternoon. It is a campus wide service day which sounds great, but I have some issues with it, which I won't go into. Sunday after church I have to work on a group project for my finance class. The project isn't fun, but my group is so it shouldn't be too bad. By the way, the huge presentation I had for that class at the very beginning of the year.....I got my grade back this week and I made a 100 on it. I looked at it and was completely shocked. I did an activity which gave me bonus points that ended up evening out with my deductions, so I made a 100. I still can't get over it.

bee on a bike
I have just finished my last homecoming as a student. Even though I love homecoming, I am not really sad about it being my last one. I think it is because it was such a good and exciting one, that it is hard to be sad. I'm going to try and go back through the crazy week that is coming week. Basically I went out to float every day since Sunday and stayed for a few hours each day. I had a lot of fun with it! We also had pigskin every day except Wednesday. We had practice on Sunday and then every other time was a full tech, dress rehearsal, or performance. That means full make-up and costumes! Thursday I started cleaning because my family was coming in town, and the apartment was nasty. I cleaned all afternoon and then some more after I got back from babysitting. I still didn't finish everything, so I tried to finish up on Friday but I didn't have much time. Thursday night after pigskin I went out to float and stayed until 3:30. I haven't been up that late in a really long time. It was fun though and it was cold outside! I got home and was starving, so I made some biscuits and then took a shower, so I didn't get to bed until 4:30. I felt so hardcore. I didn't have my 11:00 class so I decided I wouldn't have my 10:00. I didn't set an alarm and I woke up at 12 for the first time. It felt like 9. I get out of bed and kinda get ready. I go to class at 1 and then come back and squeeze in a shower and try to get more cleaning done. Then I had to go pick up some tshirts and I was going to try and get my football ticket, but it was crowded and there was no where to park. Then I go pick up the kids and after that I meet up with the family for dinner. After dinner I had to go get ready for pigskin. After we performed I went over to the bonfire. They announced the winners of float, but we could hardly hear. I heard "Delta Delta Delta" so I screamed and jumped up and down and later found out that we won the Judge's Award, which is the best float!!! PS, for anyone who may not know, we got first place in Sing, so tri delt totally won homecoming this year! After the bonfire I actually went to pigskin and watched the show. After we performed again we came home and crashed. We didn't get much sleep, but we got up this morning to go to the parade. I love the parade. I think it is so much fun. I love seeing the floats. They were all really good this year. After the parade we hung around campus for awhile and then went to lunch and then to the football game. The game was such a joke. It was awful. We wanted to leave by halftime. After the game we came back to my apartment and watched some more interesting football. Then everyone left and I started getting ready for the last pigskin performance. It is kinda sad that we will never do that act again, but it is also kinda nice. I will have lots of free time!
This weekend for the pigskin performances I decided to ride my bike to Waco Hall. It is only 3 or 4 blocks and parking is bad around there. It was genius. Friday a few people were out and made some comments to me while I was riding. One guy said, "look, a bee on a bike!" I thought it was really funny. Later on I got more comments and bzzzz's. My family made fun of my a little, but I thought it was funny.
Wednesday night was the fall festival at Highland. My community group dressed up like painters and we were in the face painting room. Tuesday Brittany and I made our costumes. We bought coveralls and then had a little paint war and splattered paint all over each other. It was a lot of fun and a really cute costume!
Yay it's finally November! I like November because it should be getting cold, even though it's not, and there isn't much else going on. I love Thanksgiving and once November hits, we kinda start to wrap up the semester. Whoo hoo!!! November is even closer to December which makes me very happy! I will be in New York 5 weeks from today. I registered this week for my last semester. It's not the schedule I wanted, but it is enough for me to graduate. I forgot about it until later the afternoon, so maybe I could have gotten into some classes I wanted. Hopefully people will change their schedule around.
Now for something completely random...my mouth has really been hurting the past couple days. I think I bit the inside of my mouth way in the back like when you bite your cheek. I don't really know, but it hurts a lot and I want it to go away.
Here are some homecoming pics.
